Product Description
The Ferro Rotary Drum Pre-Cleaner is specifically designed to handle the high levels of contamination present in cottonseed obtained from the ginning process. Operational Procedure:
Cottonseed is fed through a rotary feeder into the inlet of an inclined rotary drum. As the drum rotates, the seeds move forward in a tumbling action. During this process, larger impurities such as cotton leaves, sticks, un-ginned cotton, and threads are separated and collected in the end hopper.
